EXCITING CURRICULUM NEWS FROM THE FOUNDATION & THE STEAM LAB, THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY!!!

"The STEAM lab is very pleased to work with the DMS Foundation on a computer refresh. A total of 20 new devices are being purchased to replace some devices as old as ten years!

This is no simple refresh though. The STEAM lab is innovating with new content for students starting in Fall 2022. Additionally, some of the classic, and student favorite, experiences like music and video production will benefit from the new technology.

The STEAM lab will be adding computer science and electronics experiences for students. We piloted some of these programming and electronics design activities prior to the pandemic and are thrilled to have the tools to put them into the classroom on a permanent basis soon.
